I Finished It!!

I've written a lot for myself over the years. I've contributed to a friend's collection of short stories they had published. I've edited a lot of friends' works when in college. I never completed my own works though!

I have a tendency to write 2/3 of a story I want to tell & then get distracted by another Work-In-Progress...

I have a tendency to never return to those WIP's...

I have damaged external hard-drives and lots YEARS of writing that I never finished...

This time though, it came out of me with a need to be finished. I poured myself into my most recent work because I needed to get this story out of me.

I needed to tell my story of who I am and how I became that person.

I needed to tell the story of how I rediscovered my sexual identity after transitioning.

And I did it!!!

I've edited it more times than I care to count & still have silly mistakes I'm catching.

I was getting too close to the trees & couldn't see the forests, so I put it out to my advanced readers to help me gain perspective.

I'm DETERMINED to make this the first work I publish under my own pseudonym.

I'm DETERMINED to continue to write and tell all of the stories that have been stuck in my head for years.

Most importantly, I'm proud of myself for finishing this project.
